We arrived at our rental property near Trogir and discovered major construction happening directly next door. Heavy excavation work is taking place with large machinery operating for much of the day while rock is being removed for a new foundation.
None of this was disclosed by the host before arrival. Aside from apologizing, they have not offered any practical assistance or solutions. The level of noise and disruption is making it very difficult to stay here.
We are now trying to find an alternative on short notice. We would consider staying in Split or somewhere nearby, but we were hoping for a quieter environment rather than a stressful and noisy situation.
We came here hoping for a relaxing vacation and are now trying to salvage the trip. Any recommendations for peaceful areas, hotels, or last-minute options would be greatly appreciated.
