I’ve heard that booking flights through international versions of airline websites can sometimes lead to cheaper fares, even for domestic routes. For example, instead of using the US version of Alaska Airlines’ site, switching to another country’s version like Australia or Hong Kong might show different pricing.
I’m particularly interested in trying this with Alaska Airlines, but I’m not sure how to access these alternate country-specific URLs or if they even exist in a usable form.
If anyone has experience with this method or knows how to find and use international airline site versions effectively, I’d appreciate the guidance. Also open to examples from other airlines where this approach has worked.
