Follow-up on my earlier post: IHG support originally told me no advance payment was required, but the hotel itself confirmed the Nexi email was from their reservations team. They say it’s part of a secure payment process to confirm bookings and prevent fraud. Still confusing since IHG and the property gave opposite answers, but looks like this one’s legit after all.
