Unsure if upgrade bid has been accepted on Virgin Atlantic

I placed a bid for two seats at £450 each through Virgin Atlantic’s upgrade system.

The flight is in two days, and I’ve now noticed that I can no longer adjust or cancel the bid. The status has changed to “pending,” and I’m unsure what that means in terms of whether the upgrade has actually been accepted or is still under review.

I’m looking for clarification on whether “pending” usually indicates a successful upgrade or if it can still be declined at this stage.
