My credit card was used without authorization on May 31, 2026 for a transaction in Brazil, resulting in a charge of approximately $1,156.86 for a ticket purchase.
I do not recognize this booking at all and did not authorize the transaction. As soon as I noticed it, I contacted Qatar Airways customer service. I was advised to email their fraud team with supporting documents, including my card statement and a description of the issue.
I immediately sent the requested information and also submitted the case through their official fraud reporting channel more than once. However, I have not received any response or acknowledgment so far.
Given that the transaction includes clear payment details, I expected the airline to be able to trace the ticket in their system and take quick action, such as investigating or canceling the booking.
At this point, I am frustrated by the lack of communication and unclear timeline for resolution, and I’m unsure what further steps I can take to resolve this issue.
