At Portofino Bay, where I regularly book Deluxe rooms starting at $489/night, guests now receive Unlimited Express Pass access from check-in through departure day (previously only through checkout), priority seating at select signature restaurants, and extended park hours with both morning and evening access. The complimentary water taxi service continues to operate from 7am to 2am daily, which I find invaluable for avoiding the parking hassle.
While these benefits represent strong value compared to purchasing Express Passes separately at $129-189 per person, I noticed the Club Level rooms no longer include the premium arrival services that justified their $200+ upcharge. That said, the new package still outshines comparable offerings at Disney's Deluxe resorts, especially considering Universal's water taxi convenience and dining priority access.
