I just came across this interesting piece of news about United offering some really tempting fares from Portland to Tulum. They're running roundtrip flights for just $315 in Basic Economy or $415 for Regular Economy, all taxes included. This is actually a pretty solid deal considering Tulum's popularity these days, and it's for travel dates well into 2025.
I've flown this route before, and while Basic Economy can be a bit restrictive with the whole baggage situation, it might be worth grabbing if you're a light packer. The Regular Economy option at $415 isn't bad either if you want more flexibility. The best part is you can use ITA Matrix to find the dates and then book directly through United. From my experience, Tulum gets pretty expensive during peak seasons, so this could be a great chance to plan ahead for next year. Has anyone else heard about this?
