I was looking at a United page and it made me wonder what part is actually “powered by AI.” Turns out it’s those delay updates the ones that read like mini explanations instead of canned lines. Supposedly an LLM pulls info from ops and crew notes, then spits out something that sounds more personal.
Honestly though, half the time it still feels like the same generic “maintenance issue” blurb. Kind of wild they needed generative AI for that, but I guess it’s their way of saying they’re being more transparent.
