United showing $400 bag fee on ANA–UA award ticket

Booked a mixed ANA/United business award for a family member (PVG–HND on ANA, then NRT–EWR on United) and the United site said checked bags would cost $400. Called both airlines, ANA said it’s $0, United said they “see $400” but wouldn’t confirm either way. Pretty wild. It’s all on one ticket, same day, just different Tokyo airports. Hoping this is just a glitch, but it definitely freaked my family out. Anyone ever had United show crazy bag fees like this before?
