I took a long-haul on the 787-9 in Polaris and came away impressed overall. The seat was super comfy once in bed mode, and the Saks bedding still feels top-tier. Dinner was hit or miss main course okay, dessert great. IFE screen was clear but a bit laggy. Lighting and layout in the Polaris cabin really help it feel spacious though, and the crew was genuinely friendly. Not a perfect product, but when the service clicks, it’s one of the better business class experiences out there.
