Just read through an updated list of all United Polaris Lounges and it reminded me how exclusive these really are. Only six in the U.S. ORD, IAH, LAX, EWR, SFO, and IAD plus the arrivals lounge at Heathrow. No memberships, no credit card access, no one-time passes. You’ve got to actually be flying long-haul Polaris or Star Alliance business/first to get in.
I’ve been to the one in SFO and it’s hands-down the best airport lounge experience I’ve had proper sit-down dining, showers, quiet suites, the works. Totally different vibe from the regular United Clubs.
