Had an awful experience with United recently. I checked my walker at the counter, and it either got lost, stolen, or destroyed still not clear which. They gave me a replacement that was huge, heavy, and impossible to lift. I couldn’t go anywhere, which basically ruined the whole trip with my daughter, who I hadn’t seen in years.
It’s been a month and a half, and I still don’t have a proper replacement. After countless calls and hold times over 30 minutes, they just say “no managers available.” Hard to believe that’s the service you get after paying for a $1,400 first class ticket.
The food on board wasn’t great either no gluten-free options at all. Honestly, I’m done with United after this.
