I’ve been looking at United’s gift card options as a gift idea and honestly, they seem practical if you know the fine print. No expiration is great, but it’s a bummer you can’t use them for baggage fees, seat upgrades, or anything beyond airfare. Also, you’re stuck using just one card per booking, which feels unnecessarily restrictive.
Anyone here found a smart way to use these? Do you wait for those Costco or third-party discounts, or just buy direct?
