I initially thought I was dealing with an automated system, so I may have misunderstood part of the situation in my original post. I later realized it might have been an actual live agent I was interacting with.
After updating my post to remove personal information, I’m still confused about what happened with my United First seat situation.
I also spoke with a live representative, and they confirmed the situation but the seat price has now increased significantly to around $1,300, which has made things even more frustrating.
I’m getting a lot of negative responses, but I genuinely did not realize the nature of the interaction at first. Now I’m just trying to understand what my options are.
