I’m flying through Dulles and visited all three United Clubs in Terminal C, and they were all extremely crowded.
The lounge I stayed in had every seat occupied, with people constantly searching for space like a game of musical chairs. It was noisy, with kids screaming, long lines for restrooms, and barely any food left. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed trying to manage the crowd.
Honestly, the experience didn’t feel any different from being out in the main concourse in terms of comfort or atmosphere. Everything was packed and chaotic despite being a weekday.
Compared to this, other airports I’ve been through like Newark have felt much more manageable in their lounges.
