Just did LAX to NRT round trip and noticed something new. As soon as the doors closed, FAs asked passengers to close the overhead bins ourselves. On the return they even specifically asked the men to help and one FA tapped me on the shoulder to do the bin above me.
No real opinion either way, just hadn’t seen it before. If it gets us out faster, fine by me.
