Huge alert that United is issuing a change fee waiver for flights to and from Canada due to the Air Canada strike. I have a flight through Toronto next week that’s a United codeshare with AC, and now I’m thinking I should rebook before things get worse. They’re saying Air Canada will fully shut down starting August 16, which is peak summer chaos.
You can change your flight without fees or fare differences through Aug. 27.
Anyone else affected by this? I’m wondering how easy it is to find alternate flights right now with so many passengers being shuffled. Would love to hear what others are doing to adjust.
