On a recent American Airlines flight from Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on a small CRJ, a woman near me was literally using one of those UV nail lamps to cure fake nails during the flight.
I honestly could not believe it. We cannot even bring a sealed bottle of water through security, but apparently doing a full nail routine with glue and fumes in a tiny cabin at 31,000 feet is somehow fine?
Maybe I am overreacting, but it felt pretty ridiculous and inconsiderate in such a confined space with circulated air. I cannot be the only person who thinks that should not be allowed onboard.
