I’m looking for advice on a seat change issue with Southwest.
I paid for a Choice fare, which I understood would allow me to select my seat. I originally chose 17A, but later noticed I was reassigned to 16B without any clear explanation.
From what I’ve read, the Choice fare doesn’t guarantee a specific seat, but I still didn’t expect it to be changed after selection.
Has anyone had success disputing or reversing seat changes like this, or is this something that typically cannot be challenged?
