I’ve now had two reserved Uber rides to the airport fall apart at the last minute. Both times the driver cancelled shortly before pickup, and the app reassigned another driver who was way too far away to arrive on time.
That left me scrambling to find another ride and paying a lot more for a last minute trip to the airport.
What’s also frustrating is there’s no easy way to reach a real person through support to report the issue or file a proper complaint.
At this point I’m wondering if reserving Uber for important trips like airport rides is even reliable. Has anyone else had this happen, and is there any way to get better support or compensation from Uber?
