We just did 2 weeks in NYC (from Portugal) and it was the best trip we’ve had as a family. Stayed near Times Square, ate way too much pizza, bagels, pastrami, Katz and Sarge’s both lived up to the hype. Our daughter loved the Mets game even though none of us knew baseball rules, it ended up being a wild home run game and a huge highlight.
Other favorites: walking the High Line, sunset at Summit One, a night walk on Roosevelt Island, and lazy afternoons in Central Park. We made some mistakes (Ellis Island was a flop for us, and some food too spicy), but overall it was an amazing trip at our own pace.
Huge thanks to this sub your tips really made it special.
