Two days in a row now I’ve seen a guy in Hollywood hop on the Red Line with a little plastic critter cage, trying to sell baby turtles like he’s vending hot dogs at a ball game: “Get your turtle here, baby turtle here!”
I’ve seen socks, cigs, random electronics sold on the train… but turtles? Sloshing around in two inches of water? LA never fails to surprise me.
