Not surprised to see this new TakeUp survey saying 95% of travelers are more likely to book an independent hotel if they get personalized offers. Honestly, same here. I love a good boutique spot, but half the time I end up defaulting to a chain because it's just easier to understand what I'm getting. If a little smart tech and some thoughtful touches could make it smoother and more tailored? I'm in.
I also noticed most folks plan on doing more weekend trips in 2025, and that tracks I’ve already started looking at a few two-night stays within driving distance. Curious if anyone here has found an indie hotel that really nailed the personalization thing. I’ve seen a few that ask about preferences pre-arrival, but it still feels pretty rare.
