I had a frustrating experience at the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at LAX today and was wondering if anyone else has encountered something similar.
I arrived at approximately 6:20 PM local time, which should have been within the published Priority Pass access window. However, I was denied entry despite the lounge appearing nearly empty, with very few or no guests inside.
What made the situation confusing was that there did not seem to be any obvious capacity issue. From what I could see, the lounge was far from full.
I understand that lounges can occasionally restrict access for operational reasons, airline priorities, or last-minute policy changes, but it was frustrating to be turned away during the stated access period without a clear explanation.
Has anyone else recently experienced Priority Pass access issues at the Virgin Clubhouse at LAX or other participating lounges? Is this becoming more common, even when lounges appear to have plenty of space available?
