Booked my flight two months ago and paid 250€ for my cat to fly in-cabin. Five days before departure, I noticed she wasn’t showing in the app. Called Turkish Airlines got nowhere. They told me to fill out a feedback form, then said to try WhatsApp.
After bouncing between the AI bot and an agent, I was told my cat wasn’t approved to fly because there was already a dog on that flight. Even though they took my payment, they refused a refund and said to fill out the same useless form again.
Ended up having to buy a new ticket and pay another 290€ just to make sure my cat could travel. Zero accountability, zero explanation. Honestly, one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had
