Turkish Airlines customer service experience and seat change issues during flights

I recently had a very poor experience with Turkish Airlines and wanted to share it and see if others have faced similar issues.

Issues experienced:

Customer service felt unhelpful and lacked basic knowledge

No access to supervisors or effective escalation channels during calls

Seat assignments were changed even after confirming and paying for specific seats with my spouse

Support often redirected everything to feedback forms, even for simple requests like seat changes

Flight delays and last-minute schedule changes occurred close to international connections

Limited assistance provided during disruptions, with minimal compensation offered

Airport support staff in Istanbul were available in large numbers but did not provide clear help or guidance

No proactive communication or announcements in some cases of missed connections or boarding issues

Frequent flyers or membership status did not seem to make any difference in support received
