We are flying from YYZ to DAM via IST in May with Turkish Airlines.
The airline initially cancelled all flights to DAM for May and offered us either a refund or the option to change to a different destination. We chose an alternative destination (ALP), since rebooking everything separately would have been much more expensive.
However, a few days later they reinstated all DAM flights for the same month.
We have contacted the airline multiple times through the call center and feedback form asking to be moved back to our original route, but they keep responding that we already accepted a new destination.
Has anyone successfully been reinstated to their original flights in a similar situation where the airline later restored a previously cancelled route?
