Flew ATL to BWI and had checked bags with coffee beans I brought back from the DR. I assume that’s what triggered the inspection, which is fine.
What I don’t get is why the bags weren’t sealed back up. The coffee packaging literally has a reseal strip. Instead I got home to beans loose all over both suitcases. Couldn’t even pull clothes out without coffee spilling everywhere.
I get inspections happen, but leaving someone’s bag like that feels like zero common sense. At least try to put things back the way you found them.
