Flying out of Charlotte with PreCheck yesterday and ran into a TSA agent who was just on a total power trip. She had the whole line backed up in a weird U-shape because she kept denying people entry to the scanner and was making PreCheck passengers take off shoes, belts, light jackets, all the stuff you’re not supposed to remove in PreCheck.
I had a flannel over a T-shirt, jacket already in the bin. She told me to take off my “shirts.” I said it wasn’t a jacket. She told me if I wanted to get on my plane, I’d do it. Ended up stripping both layers off in the checkpoint while she laughed at me.
When I asked her name she covered her badge and told me to move along.
Just… absolutely humiliating. Can they even do that? And is there any way to report someone like this so the behavior doesn’t get brushed off?
