I’m thinking about trying to standby into Dubai from Canada in about 10 days, but I’m unsure how things look at the moment with the recent tensions involving Iran.
My partner and extended family are in Dubai and they’re telling me things are starting to calm down, but I’m curious what the flights are actually like right now.
My guess is flights into DXB might be lighter than usual, which could make standby easier. What I’m more worried about is the return trip and whether getting out might be harder.
Has anyone tried flying standby into Dubai recently?
