Trying to reserve dog in hold on Singapore Airlines and getting nowhere

I’m trying to fly with my dog from Singapore to France on SIA and I’m honestly at a loss right now.

I’ve flown this route with my dog on Singapore Airlines before, so I know the process. You reserve space for the dog in the hold in advance, then you pay at the airport as excess baggage. You can’t prepay it online anyway.

Our flight was booked weeks ago and the e-ticket was issued via an OTA. As soon as the ticket was issued, we contacted SIA to reserve space for our dog. That’s when everything went sideways. Once they realized the booking wasn’t made directly with SIA, no one seems willing to take ownership.

We’ve called the hotline multiple times, sent emails, involved the travel agency, and even went in person to the SIA Experience Centre. Every time we’re told it will be passed to the “relevant team.” Then nothing. Total radio silence.

The reservations team just keeps deflecting and not responding, and our travel agency isn’t getting answers either. We’re running out of time and this is incredibly stressful since traveling with a pet obviously can’t be handled last minute.

Has anyone dealt with this before or found a way to actually get SIA to confirm pet space when booked through an OTA? Any advice would really help right now.
