Planning a surprise trip to Bali for my husband and finally thinking about doing lie-flat seats for the long haul.
Still can’t believe I’m even considering $5k per seat… but this feels like the trip to do it.
Problem is I’m starting from a small airport in Canada, so it’s always a short hop to Montreal or Toronto first. I don’t care about business class on that part, just want it for the long international leg.
I’m kinda nervous about booking separate tickets though. If something goes wrong on the first flight, you’re basically stuck.
Is there an easy way to mix cabins on one ticket? Or do people just risk separate bookings for this kind of thing?
