Trying to book a Delta-operated flight with Aeromexico points but it is not showing up in search

I am trying to book a flight using Aeromexico points, but I am running into an issue.

When I search for flights using points on the Aeromexico website, the Delta-operated flight does not appear. However, if I disable the “use points” option, the same Delta flight shows up normally.

I contacted Aeromexico customer service, but they told me I cannot use points for this Delta-operated route.

What is confusing me is that the same flight appears in Google and Skyscanner as part of Aeromexico availability.

I am trying to understand if this is a limitation of Aeromexico award booking rules, a system issue, or if I am missing something in how partner award availability works.
