Tropical Storm Erin Could Become Season’s First Atlantic Hurricane by Friday

Just saw that Tropical Storm Erin might become the first hurricane of the 2025 season by Friday. I'm heading to the Caribbean next week and now seriously reconsidering the timing. The forecast has it moving near the northern Leeward Islands, and there’s a lot of rain expected in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands some areas could see up to 6 inches. Flash floods and mudslides are also a concern.

Anyone else tracking Erin for their travel plans? I know hurricane season always carries risk, but this one feels like it could be more serious.

Would love to hear what others are doing postponing trips, changing routes, or waiting to see how things develop over the weekend?
