Classic “no good deed goes unpunished” moment this morning.
Flying TPA to LGA, I’m in 4E. Two younger girls ask if they can have the aisle so they can sit together. One of them was in 4B. I said sure, but suggested they take 4F instead so they’d be next to each other and I’d keep the aisle.
They loved the idea. We switch.
Literally one minute later a guy shows up and says he’s actually in 4B.
So now I’m in the window.
Not the end of the world. Totally first world problem. But yeah… lesson learned. Always double check boarding passes before you move.
