Flew this morning on one of the new SW aircraft, and wow not great. We always buy the third seat for our 8-month-old and his carrier, and on the older planes it fit with a couple inches to spare. On this new one it barely squeezed in and actually pushed the seat in front forward. So whoever sits there basically loses their recline and gets shoved closer to the seatback.
I’m 6'4" and the legroom felt tighter too couldn’t even get the tray table all the way down with my knees in the way. Didn’t have that issue on the older Southwest layouts.
Definitely feels like a downgrade.
