We always purchase the Unlimited Dining Package, so this sailing we decided to finally give Chops Brunch a try before it potentially gets discontinued.
We were sailing on Quantum and were told that there was no additional charge as long as the reservation was made before boarding. We also heard that Chops Brunch is only offered on itineraries with at least two sea days, although that may vary depending on the ship.
For the first half hour, we had the restaurant almost entirely to ourselves, and the service was excellent as always. I asked if I could have toast with my steak and eggs even though it wasn't listed on the menu, and the staff happily accommodated the request.
Overall, the food was very good. The menu offered a wide variety of options, including several dishes that are unique to the brunch experience. That said, I personally would not pay an extra $30 for it as an add-on, and I definitely would not pay full price. However, if it's included with the Unlimited Dining Package or available without an additional fee, I think it's worth trying at least once.
