Got a systemwide to clear and ended up in seat 2D on one of the new 787-9s with the Flagship Suite Preferred setup. Major step up from the old business class. The mattress pad and blanket were actually comfortable, and the wider footwell made a big difference. Had the best plane nap I’ve ever had.
Food was about the same as before, but the workspace and seat layout are way better. If you’re flying one of the new jets, grab a bulkhead seat before they start charging extra it’s worth it.
