I usually dread layovers, but during a 3-hour stop at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson, my daughter and I booked an hour in a Minute Suites nap room and it completely changed my airport experience. Thanks to Priority Pass, our first hour was free normally $65, and the space felt like a hidden oasis away from the chaos. The room had a daybed with a trundle, a desk, smart TV, thermostat, Alexa for white noise, and blissful quiet.
We both fell into a deep sleep and woke up actually refreshed before our next flight. Honestly, the only downsides were the lack of a mini fridge and a missed wake-up knock. At $40/hour after the free first hour, I’d absolutely do it again.
For me, it beats fighting for a seat at a crowded gate or even some lounges. Would you splurge on a nap room during a long layover?
