Tribute Pizza did $20k in gift card sales from the Amex Resy credit rush

Went to Tribute Pizza (one of the Resy restaurants) in San Diego on Sept 30. The table next to me was also using their Amex credit, and the server said they sold over $20k in online gift cards before even opening that day. Wild how much traffic that credit brings in.
