My partner currently has a suspended sentence, and from what I understand this may restrict international travel for at least five years. I’ve also read that such restrictions might only apply to certain countries, but I’m not entirely sure.
I’m trying to find out whether anyone with a similar type of conviction has been able to travel overseas, and how these restrictions typically work in practice.
