I’ll be moving mostly by train in China and will have a large suitcase plus a cabin bag with me the whole time. Been reading a lot here (super helpful btw), but couldn’t find a clear answer on luggage.
From what I can tell, it’s not like Japan where you can reserve luggage space, so I’m a bit worried. I’m planning to book second class tickets and wondering… where does all the luggage actually go? Is there overhead space big enough, or some shared area at the end of the car? Or am I going to be fighting for space every time?
Anyone traveled around China like this and can share how manageable it really is? Trying to set expectations before I commit to all these train tickets.
