I’m taking a trip with my dad next week from Northern NJ to Manitowoc, WI to pickup some construction equipment and a trailer. We’re driving straight there and will stop in the Cleveland suburbs on the way back.
Does anyone know of good stops along the way for food or points of interest on the route like cool truck stops or any weird Americana stuff?
For example, I love the Emlenton Truck Plaza off rt. 80. Love south of the border and buccees when I’m heading south. But I’ve never driven beyond Cleveland. If anyone has suggestions for stops or opinions on the various routes through/around Chicago (or all points west of Cleveland), I’d appreciate anything you’re willing to share.
