Travelers discuss whether to select seats early or accept automatic assignments on Aer Lingus flights

I am curious how other passengers approach seat selection when flying with Aer Lingus. Some people book seats as early as possible to secure their preferred location, while others choose to wait and accept whatever seat is automatically assigned at check-in.

From my own experience, the results have been mixed. Sometimes waiting works out fine and I end up with a decent seat, but other times I get a less comfortable or less convenient location.
