I made a mistake while planning our family trip to Europe in June. My responsibility was to book lift tickets for the Eiffel Tower, but I missed the booking window by a few days. I was aware tickets sell out in advance, but I did not realize they typically open and fill up around 60 days ahead.
Now, all the desired time slots for a Saturday morning visit on June 27 are fully booked. This is a particularly busy time, which makes it even harder to find availability.
I am trying to understand if there are still any realistic ways to get lift tickets, such as last-minute releases, cancellations, or additional booking windows closer to the date. I have read that some tickets may occasionally become available shortly before the visit, but I cannot find clear confirmation of this on official sources.
As a backup, I am considering booking stair access tickets when they open, even though it may be physically more demanding and our schedule that day is already quite full. I am hoping to find a solution that still allows us to visit without too much disruption to our plans.
