Travel splurges that are actually worth it?

I’ve been thinking about what expenses are genuinely worth spending extra on when traveling, things that actually make a noticeable difference to the overall experience.

For me, a good hotel room is one of them. Even if it pushes me slightly over budget, having a comfortable place to rest and recharge makes the whole trip feel better and more enjoyable.
