Has anyone dealt with this before?
My husband’s military leave was denied, so we had to cancel our cruise on Disney Cruise Line.
We filed a claim with travel insurance through Aon Affinity Travel Insurance, but they are denying it and saying it falls under a “war related” exclusion.
The confusing part is that we provided a letter from his Colonel clearly stating that the leave denial was not related to any war or deployment, yet the insurance company is still rejecting the claim.
I do not understand why they would override official military documentation like that.
Has anyone successfully appealed something like this or know what steps we can take to challenge it?
