Travel insurance Credit card-what is covered?

My mother had a heart attack at the start of our trip so we had to cancel all the additional legs of travel and hotels. I know that these would be covered by Chase United Explorer and Bilt. But she has to stay at the hospital for another week to two weeks. So I’m also stuck here and need to look for new accommodation. Would credit cards cover these new costs?
