I saw a piece where a travel writer picked five “perfect” October spots: Pitlochry in Scotland, Cesky Krumlov in Czechia, Kaysersberg in France, Alleghe in Italy, and Burford in England. (Sorry I forgot the original source, will update this post to include that if anyone is really interested). All small towns with that cosy autumn vibe forests turning gold, pubs, vineyards, misty lakes.
I’ve only been to Pitlochry in the fall and it really is magical with the foliage and whisky by the fire. Makes me want to try the others one October too.
