Totally normal on Finnair, nothing wrong with your booking

Finnair’s system is just weird like that, especially when the ticket is booked through AA. You’ll often see the meals listed but won’t get an actual selection screen online. Happens a lot with partner bookings.


Usually you either pick on board or the option opens much closer to departure, sometimes only a few days out. Worst case, the crew will come around and let you choose after takeoff. In business they usually cater enough that you still get a choice.


It’s annoying, but not a sign something is broken or that you’re stuck with whatever’s left.
